Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Does anyone live close to Darling Downs, QLD??

    On the off chance...

    I may need something, (or 4 things) picked up, packaged, and posted to me... its not in concrete yet as i wasn't sure if i could get them back to me, so thought id just ask.
    Obviously i will pay for postage and packaging, but will also pay for your time and effort.

        I'm in Toowoomba, but I've got no way of picking up four wheels. I don't like to put bulky metal items in the back of my new car. Sorry I can't help.

            Can any one suggest a courier to pick my wheels up, package them, and send them to VIC?
            I got a quote of $450 from pack and send and nearly died. I could fly or drive there and get them for less im sure.

            Or any other QLDers out that way??

              Try E-go... Cost me $85 to get 4 18x8in wheels shipped from Grafton to Townsville 6 weeks ago depot to depot. I'm sure they will have a depot in Towoomba and near you too...

              I would pick them up for you as I am driving from Townsville down to Sydney next weekend, but the car will be packed to the roof and I will have no room. Sorry mate.

                Would they package them up though? I'm a tad worried about them getting damaged after seeing how my BBS arrived

                  Not sure about packaging. Have a look on the site and see if they offer it.
