Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

                        It's a '63 Cooper, hasn't got much on it but my old mans got most of the bits - he's got a Cooper s that needs a rebuild, so I'm doin that at the same time.
                        Plans are to be a road/track car. So strip it back, sandblasted, tad of weld and full respray. hot A+ motor, full syncro gearbox, minilites... The works
                        But that'll probably be a few years away
