My Vento grill was once part of that car, my mum says that makes it cool... . He has a cool shop in Auckland that has stacks of 16v GTIs VR6s etc in the carpark, I think they're pretty into aircooled stuff too, if anyone goes to Auckland check it out.Originally posted by rayray086 View PostFrom the same guy who did the white Mk3 Vento coupe
I think I'm probably going to have to own one of these in my lifetime.

VW Imposter, the Sierra Cosworth was such a ground-breaking car and looks great too/ I considered buying one a while back, but I was absolutely gobsmacked at how disgusting and dated the interior was, the style hasnt aged very well at all compared with other cars2007 Audi RS4 with: APR ECU Upgrade; JHM Quick Shifter; Milltek Catback and Downpipes; KW V3 Coilovers; Argon Creative Carbon Fibre Splitters

Yeah I know what you mean, looks a bit like a 1980s Patrol in there, but it is still 1980s retro cool so wouldn't bother me. Dad had one new (bit easier to import into NZ, but worth a mint there now) wasn't an RS500 but was apparently 'Carlone tuned'....or something like that, all I remember was the awesome '80s gadgets it had, big bolsters on the seats and it being silly fast. I'd still drive one, haven't been in one since being little and dam it's a treat to see them when they do finally pop up. When I was told the VR6 reminded him of it I was chuffed, but think it's a stretch.Originally posted by gareth_oau View PostVW Imposter, the Sierra Cosworth was such a ground-breaking car and looks great too/ I considered buying one a while back, but I was absolutely gobsmacked at how disgusting and dated the interior was, the style hasnt aged very well at all compared with other cars
