Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I was at the Bathurst 12 hour all weekend. The works Audi R8 V10s totally dominated it - started on front row and pretty much led from start t finish. The winning car was matte black and driven by Marc Basseng, Daryll O'Young and Chris Mies.
So spectacular across the top of the mountain, waaaay faster than a V8 Supercar through all the flowing parts... just not Conrod/Mountain straight. It's close though - Lowndes' fastest race lap in the Bathurst 1000 last year was 2:08.8845. He did a 2:09.0861 in the Audi R8 yesterday, remarkable considering it was his first race in the Audi and that the cars have had no development compared to a decade of V8 Supercar evolution.
Anyway, here's a pic I shot of the winning car at dawn.
It's definitely relevant to this thread, the cars, team and drivers were very inspiring indeed.
