Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

                      • Hmm the matte wrap on the arse-4 does look menacing too.
There is a lovely Beige 928 with rebuilt motor and brakes going for $15k on carsales. It has turbo twist wheels similar to those above, too.

I wonder how it would look with a matte wrap?

                              Hehe.

I think there was a 928 in scarface too. There are also some very tempting 928 models out there.
Funnily enough I saw this model and thought wow, that looks amazing!
I then figured out that I could afford to buy the real thing... but run? notsomuch.

                              • It's the parts and servicing that would be the killer... Insurance with Shannons wouldn't be a huge amount unless it's a daily drive.
