Hey Static, what's the story with that thing you posted, has it had a rear-end conversion or something? Is there a build thread or something for it?

It's a Jetta coupe that has had the boot and rear window cut off and a mk1 rear section put in to make a wagon, pretty cool idea.

To be fair to VW, I think the candy white MKV has had an influence on the 'coolness' of white sports cars.

Actually I think you'll find it was Porsche.
I reckon VW stole it from the Porsche GT3s just before they launched the GTI.
I remember looking with Dad at the online Porsche configurator going, "How sex does that look?".
