Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Gee thanks dude, i just spent half an hour looking at that! What a fantastic bit of work!

Almost as cool as when i went to see the Porsche 917 replica factory near Kilmoore (VIC).

                      • Very cool! I love those style of bikes - my mate had a Yamaha one of that style. You probably wouldn't be able to pull any chicks with it, but it definitely has that old school cool associated with it

The type of bikes I really like were those originally made by Shinya Kimura. They're kinda like the Japanese version of choppers. Anyway, on with the pics:

All from www.zerochop.com. They're not something I would build but I sure as hell can appreciate them.

                        • After seeing some horrible bike accidents at work, it has detered me from bikes altogether but i still appreciate them. Heres some nice mk3's.

                            • I've got a spare BBS wheel I was thinking of using as a room ornament or coffee table or some other bizarre idea, but I would love to have this:
