Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Not a fan of the wheels, or the stance... I think it looks way better in the previous picture...

It's the hatch. If they hadn't smoothed the hatch it would look really cool I reckon.

But then again, what do I know about moon discs? haha.

Fired it up and it works like it did in 1995 (ish), rusty photo but it's mint. I remember my brothers and I all got them and they were the first of the colour ones... as in you could choose the colour of the case, the screen just like anything in the world worth watching is black and white dot matrix.

I was disturbed that I still knew the first level of mario, still.... better than doing crim law readings.

I dug mine out the other day too, good fun and cant believe it still works. Got mine in Hong Kong in '94
