Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

        • LOL!!! Ford spent $3million on it too... Pity they didn't throw an extra $2 at the steering column trim.

Well said, still in love with this car since Need for Speed 2 started my passion for cars as it did for so many gen Y's.

The motor was problematic to say the least, it was capable of some 1250hp but the harmonic balancing tore the two blocks apart at high revs

              • Haha I was meaning to post the GT90 the other day. Love it or hate it, I still think it's very cool and wish more companies would make insane prototypes.

He has the red clubman and a white early car (like the one above) in pristine condition tucked away in a shed. He glares at me every time I use the words "Hayabusa" and "swap" in the same sentence. Dunno why...
