Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

VIP is all about the details, and modding without changing the car's silhouette drastically. It's called luxury, and it's not too different (in philosophy) from the heavily OEM-influenced VW scene. Hell you can buy carbon door lock pins. Detail.

    To contribute...

I have to agree. I'd much rather that than a toyota with a funny badge....

Hey Alex, mine is a daily, so full VIP might be pushing it. But coilovers, good quality 19's, removing my rear spoiler and inner tail lights, rear limo tint and a different grille maybe the way to go. But the RX wasn't free so I
have to start saving the $$$$$ again!!

As for a Toyota with a funny badge, this is a thread for cars that inspire me..

I wouldn't want to start a Lexus vs ?? thread..

I am posting on my all time favourite forum after all, my beloved MKIII was sold about 10 months ago.

I was inspired to buy 3 Lexus's in the last 18mths with the help of all the good people on here..

          Peace

              • VIP is definitely cool....

I had a man come and look at the benz earlier this week who had a GS400 (I believe) withthe 4L V8. It was a 1990 model and the features/accessories/options were unbelieveable. For 1990!.....so VIP indeed.....the factory airbags were also pretty cool.

                    it's pretty cool though..

i dunno bout you guys, but i'd rock 20x13" rears..
