  • Williamtown Air Show 2010

So on Saturday I spent the day at Williamtown at the Air Show. Pretty awesome exhibition, tens of thousands of people.

    Notables:
Last public exhibition of an F111 (including fuel dumping)
    Spitfire sound
    Difference between Hornet and Superhornet
    Size of the Orion
Agility of the Red Bull Air Race planes (Matt Hall was on hand)
    Hornet's doing "hand brakies"

Nice pictures, quite a big aviation fan myself.

Was the Lockheed Constellation 'Conny' there?
I remember it being at the Bundy air show a few years back .

At take off all the engines were roaring and each engines set of 3(?) exhausts were all spewing out 1 metres fireballs..... simply raw power, Long live the Radial

        "Connie"?

Yeah it was Ryan. Ill dig through the pics and see if I snapped one (good one?) of it and post it up later.

I'm a fan, and know some model numbers/designation etc but certainly not awesome at it! Just had an awesome day!

        Loved the radial!!!!
