Cheap CTP - NSW

Saw this on another forum, even if you've tried checking your CTP cost on MAA, i reccomend getting an online quote directly from QBE:

When i got a quote using the the MAA Motor Accidents Authority - Green Slip Price Guide Form
It said NRMA = $686.84 which was spot on because that was the amount NRMA have just asked me to pay
And it said QBE = $648.00

But using QBE's online quote, it's only $452

So that saves me $234

I just worked out, you need to have the "Greenslips?BNDE=zV1cF9ZaGpE%3D" at the end of the url, must be some promotion link.

and that $452 is actually a flat rate... hmmm a little fishy, but i'm gonna do it anyway

It could also be that depending on what you fill in on the MAA form, it will produce a different result with QBE even though you entered the same info on the QBE site as it sends incorrect (or not as accurate anyway) info to get the quote.

See how the second one has a "purnell" image up the top?

It definetely affects the price if you try using both links.
I actually had someone from work today calculate theirs, and their quote came out at $338 i think! (theirs was usually $380 though)

the only feedback i've gotten from people when i sent this link around was negative because people had JUST spent $690 odd on their CTP, haha

My workmate and I purchased this CTP the other day, both quoted $686, with this link both went down to $452.

Recieved email from RTA matching all our details.

Keep in mind if you are insured with Shannons, you can get your greenslip through them too - they were cheaper than GIO (who actually owns Shannons)
