hahahaha. that's hilarious- thanks for the link.

    i love it!

jay leno: "so why do you think no one's come up with this concept in the 140 years since dunlop started producing tyres?"

camberman: "well, it's because they're all inside this little box, and im like, i dont care about the box, and that's what enabled me to come up with this invention". haha.

    awesome.

Looks like a bloody great idea. If this doesn't pick up super fast then I'd be interested to see what's wrong with them/the concept.

they will work well for cars that run camber for looks but their one fault is that the camber is there to counteract the sway of the car/tyre when you huff it into a corner, now instead of getting 100% of tyre surface area you will get the outside of the camber tyre (if anyone follows my theory) they inner edge of the tyre (now less profile then the outside) will lift off the ground, so they are pointless imo.

i may be wrong but i fell they arent so crash hot apart from having camber for style and slow cornering

          I don't follow your theory.

I think Pedies is assuming that when you throw it into a corner, the inner edge would loose contact with the road.

meaning you get less grip in a corner than a square tire on a cambered wheel, which in a corner all the tread is contacting the road.

so the tyre isn't any good for race/performance application, just for cars with excessive camber for looks or the purpose of fitting wheels under low cars.

I'd guess that the longer sider wall is softer to allow full contact on the straight or corner.
