MK1 on TV

So you all see VW's on TV now and then, but I wanted to let you know that over this upcoming season of Packed to the Rafters on Channel 7 (Tuesday nights) - there will be some MK1 action. So keep an eye out.

Last MK1's on TV i remember were for a soup ad (man walks across the road in front of it) and the beige (possibly South African) police car in the second season of Underbelly.

There was a VW in the old episode too. my GF was very proud when she pointed it out to me haha.
I had to look up some specifications the other day for work. Was a company producing drains for various things and roads, two of the six had older VWs in the pictures!

umm a friend of a friend of a friend that got dragged to see it by this girl his just trying to sleep with told me there is a pretty mint NA Mk1 gti with roof racks in the new twilight...certainly wasn't me watching a pirated version at home... alone on sunday night... just this friend.

So as many of you already know, this car was cast to be in Packed to the Rafters for this season - last night it made it's first, albeit brief appearance. There is sure to be more in the upcoming weeks, where you can actually see it properly!!
