  • National Hot Rod Reunion 2010

The weekend just passed was the 3rd National Hot Rod Reunion, located at Castlereagh Hall, Castlereagh only a couple of K's from where the old Castlereagh International Dragway used to be located.

We took Banshee along. George B was there with Scorcher, the Blake family had their Alcohol FED there and Graeme Cowin had Psycho III. Not a bad line up for an Australian Cacklefest.

Was a good night. All the old guys bench raced and talked about the things they did in years gone by and all the rest of it.. Was a top night.

Lots of Hot Rods etc were there and there was a little over 200 guests in attendance...

Anyways, here's a few pics I snapped from the event..

                  Was a great night!

The Cackle I got to see was just the pair of Scorcher and Banshee. It was the best cackle I will ever get the priviledge of seeing first hand.

When the owners would hold the throttle open just enough and the flames were raging, there was enough nitro in the air to burn your throat and make it hard to see, but I'll be buggered if I ever turn my back on a nitro cackle!

                  Another top job Preen!

Cheers mate. Good to see you had a good time! I thought maybe there wasn't as much nitro floating around.. But maybe i'm just getting used to it. haha.
