Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Those covers look fantastic but from $194 to $601 for a 2002 Golf - A bit exy. Guess you get what you pay for...

My work sells car covers, but they're within that $180 + price range.

I wouldn't buy one cheaper than that because it's likely to be crap..

              Thanks for the reply boys!

I ended up going for a brand call 'Prestige', seemed fine, nice protective waterproof outside layer and a nice soft inside layer to prevent scratching, accompanied by an elastic hem. Bought it from Peps for $145, Autobarn had it for $165. Will let you guys know if i notice and problems, but until then, im quiet happy with it.
