  • Subway + Volkswagen?

Drove past Corinda Subway/Pizza Hut and saw they were filming something. I just thought it was an ad until I look in the carpark to see a gold Golf 118 basically in the scene. As well as another unregistered Golf 118 outside on one of those low level flat bed trailers.

Any idea what it could be?

        Haha!
I dunno - but Subway and Volkswagens are two of my favourite things...
They might've been filming an ad? The VW dealership down here does them occasionally.
I'm going to the pub... I may be some time...

It's not at all unusual for ads for products to require a particular car type to "fulfill the vision" of the drugged up advertising execs who came up with the idea.
                Nothing to see here...

it's a parallelism. one has nothing to do with the other. sure, it might make sense if they were sponsors for a team of some sort, but otherwise, they have nothing to do with one another.

just like dubs and subway [unless, of course, you do the whole ''well, volkswagen drivers have to eat, and subway provides a culinary service''.... which would liken it to female skiers/snowboarders having personal effects requirements].
