What do you call / have you named your car ?

  • I called my first car (a 1970's Fiat) Valdez as I bought it around 1990 and it left a trail of oil everywhere
    .
    Since then, none of my cars have had enough personality (faults?) to warrant a name.

            My brother & his GF came up with this one after the passenger door lock started to not unlock at random.

                    Indeed, I've been trying to teach my wife how to correctly pronounce Volks Wagen: Follks Varrgen. She struggles with that a bit, but it's better than Vowks Waggin as most English-speaking people pronounce it.

                    Incidentally, the letters VW in German are pronounced Fau Vet.

                      Yeah, not too sure how to pronounce it to be honest.
                      Not sure whether to just say it the Aussie/English way, or the proper way.
                      Either way, I'm going to sound like an idiot to someone.. :|
