Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    hi guys, im from Melbourne. Im picking a Golf GTI MK5 next week in Sydney.
    My first Golf.!!! i can't wait.

    IS there anyone kindly enough to lend their garage and tools for a oil change before i drive it back to Melbourne?

    I see where you are coming from, but why not drive back to Melbourne on the oil that it has? Its only 900km.

        i dont see you having any problems, sound a bit to "pedantic" to the point of ridiculous imo!

        welcome to come do it at our workshop, however you will have to pay unfortunately if you were to.
