  • Turn Left - (der fred.)

I'm wondering; it it possible to turn left on the new Go Between Bridge coming from the Riverside Expressway (City)? Everytime I drive past, I try and picture in my head how it could be possible but I can't ever come to a conclusion.

I believe there is a website that shows the future development plans.

I assume you are talking about turning right onto it from corro drive (inbound)

      Don't believe so Alex.

Check out the traffic map on the website or the animated version.

There is 2 right turn lanes on the bottom road section between the overpass and the hale street ramp.
No way to get onto it if you are driving towards corro drive from the city though.

Here is the full site with a pdf map further down the page:

I am the biggest idiot of them all.

I meant to say turn LEFT. To turn LEFT from Riverside Expressway.

I know you can turn right onto the bridge coming from Coronation Drive (Toowong etc).

            Ahh okay.

No you can't turn onto it from corro drive/expressway if you are heading outbound from the city.

Assumably you would take the Bridge at the top of Queen street that goes past QPAC if you wanted to get there, otherwise you are stuffed.

LOL - somehow I knew what you meant and answered it as if you said left

I wonder if they'll put a toll on it...

                $2.70 each way.

Rediculous considering you can drive another 500m and go across the next bridge for free.

Pointless toll's = white elephant infrastructure (go between bridge and clem 7 tunnel)

Just watch the no right turn sign go in for the Grey St Bridge, or at least drop it to 1 lane and reduce the arrow time to 2 seconds.

The new bridge is only good for going south off Hale St, or north to hale or west onto corro.
Hale St right turn to corro will be reduced to 1 lane with a very short bay for queueing. It used to be 2 lanes with a 100m waiting bay.

It will be the most expensive road per distance in the world. Something like $1/100m.

Bastards, that cue is gonna be stupid and block up the rest of Hale st for people going across bridges and whatnot.
