  • melbourne bungle repairers

hey guys, probably the wrong section but i was hoping to catch people with some experience in the matter-

i had a bungle in the car today- turning into a parking spot, checked mirrors, indicator on etc etc, and i got collected.

the damage aint so bad- cant open drivers side door, but the drivers side and passenger side doors are all that's damaged, airbags didnt deploy or anything.

racv have recommended me to a place called woods accident repairs in brunswick- anyone had any experience with any of the woods franchises?

dont know where i stand if one of you guys were to recommend a place (e.g. josh recommending lp bodyworks in box hill) and me wanting to get the repairs done there instead of the racv "preferred" place- anyone had any experience forcing the issue with their insurance company?

so yeah, if anyone knows of a good place who doesnt pump out mediocre jobs, or if anyone has had any experience with woods franchises, pls let me know

    cheers,

    scotty

try a mob called Mr. Shine down in Moorabbin, had them fix up my old Alfa after a little mishap and they did a great job. A lot of attention to detail. Make sure the insurance pays as they are expensive.

The other guys I have are cambro motors in mulgrave, they also did a good job to my other car and I was really have with the work.

cheers guys, thanks for the help.

im gonna call around- it looks like woods isnt the best at all. i read on a commodore forum a member's friend's utter dissatisfaction with the job that they had done.

if they couldnt get a commodore right, how in the hell are they gonna properly fix something as specific as a diesel hairdresser's car?

cheers guys, lots of calling to do

                Ouch ...

I had mine fixed at Stylemaster in Richmond. Excellent work, very quick turnaround.

I had choice of repairer so no issue at all with my insurance company. Best to check and see what they say before you take it anywhere.

hey guys thanks heaps for the input and support.

sorted the choice of repairer thing with the insurance company, going to one of the ones recommended right in this thread!

next friday is when they'll see me. which is awesome. i'd rather be in line for half an hour at an awesome restaurant than walk right in to a dingy little spot to find im the only one they're cooking for that night.

                  cheers again gang!
