Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

has anyone in QLD sold a car to someone in NSW or VIC. im just after any info or forms i that need to be filled out prior to the selling as i plan on putting my car up for sale at VW nationals. i kind of have to sell my mk3 as im heading overseas. so i will be very negotiable on the price.
i want to try have all the papers there for all states that way if it does get sold i can hand over the keys then and there.

    thanks

yeah it is basically the buyer's responsibility to do most of the paperwork, all you have to worry about it your side, rego and roadworthy certificate (if required), i'm sure there would be a detailed handy list of things you need to do from your state car registry.
