Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Pretty much what you're experiencing.

It use to pull so hard to the left that after driving for more than 40 minutes or so, my arms would hurt from fighting the steering wheel. Everywhere I went, I heard the same thing -- "Yeah, it probably feels like it's pulling to the left but I can tell you that it's just the camber of the road." or "Cars are designed to pull to the left, it's a safety thing in case you fall asleep at the wheel."

    Here's the thread I started on it -- http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...ad.php?t=21539

Just wanted to follow up, TruTrack in North Melbourne are simply put the best place I've ever had an alignment done. Plus the cafe is great while you wait! They DEFINITELY know their stuff. Thanks for the recommendation.
