Saw this video yesterday as well.
It seems that the physics are out a bit for it, surely under heavy braking, you would be tilting down at the front by another 45 degrees.
Still and awesome project though.

i was reading an article in the latst topgear and the one f1 teams are using for getting around the latest rules looks like an awesome piece of kit but at 100k or so you would have to be seriously keen

as rocket already suggested. Its not about how much it moves. Its about how the movement feels. The screen moves with you. It has to be way over the top to simulate a race car!Originally posted by Jarred View Posttotally unrealistic body motions. they were way ott
The main difference with most of the big simulators is that they are full enclosed so you cant equate the movement to your surroundings.

jarrad, the movement is supposed to recreate the g-forces that you would expect to feel.Originally posted by Jarred View Posttotally unrealistic body motions. they were way ott
As the screen is moving with you, you wouldnt actually feel like you were flopping all over the place like a small boat on a rough sea.2007 Audi RS4 with: APR ECU Upgrade; JHM Quick Shifter; Milltek Catback and Downpipes; KW V3 Coilovers; Argon Creative Carbon Fibre Splitters

Even still, I think that's a whole lot of movement & it would possibly create an unnatural feel. just what i reckon anyway.
valid point about the G's though.
