Someone stole my bmx.

Get home today and had a look around or my bmx... It's gone.

It's a black 2009 fit prk3. Matte black with the top bar sticker removed. Of anyone sees a fit like that bash the person riding it and return it to me please. It's a $1000 bike and I want it back. Arghhhhh

Covered by contents insurance. Mate of mine had a similar thing happen years ago when he was still in high school and still into BMX racing. Two of his racing bike were stolen. Had new ones within a couple of weeks. No biggy, just a damn big PITA!

Thats **** news man...I had the same thing happen to me when I lived in on base...Found out later that the guy the stole my bike killed himself... Things have a a way of catching up on the people that do you wrong...

Probably kids....when I owned my bike shop, I got to know all the locals bikes....had a huge guy from the local army base get his prize bmx stolen, about a week later some of the local mongrel kids brought it into the shop painted white ( but obvious to me )...I knew where they lived and made a call....this guy and several AJ's "paid them a visit".

Lodge a theft report with the police, then make a claim under the contents policy of your house insurance (assuming youve got one)

Should cover the replacement cost (less your excess)

Pretty Sure Stu wont have house insurance.
Check out the local BMX tracks and skateparks and ask around.
Offer a reward to some local kids for info as to its wherabouts

Condolences man.

I'll ask my bro in-law as he is into the local BMX scene. He hangs around the Knox skate park (not so much more these days) but I'm sure he could ask his mates.

That sucks dude. I hope you get it back. I've had 2 bikes stolen over the years when i was younger. Not fun at all.

I probably know the kids who stole it...
