  • Love this city! (Melbourne)

Got to love walking home after work and finding a free concert starting at 5:30pm less than 50m across the road from your building!!! 80's covers too... AWESOME!!! Got to love the 80's... Time to grab a Hoegarden from the Belgian Beer Cafe IN MY BUILDING (hahaha... I still laugh at that) and sit back with some live 80's music!

Melbourne is fantastic - loving it. And I've only been here since Monday and already spent more at Ticketek than ever before. Tennis, Twenty20, ODI, Formula 1.

If only I could afford to buy one of these apartments! Still, would be worth the move permanently I reckon. Just buy a place a bit cheaper in South Yara or St Kilda.

Not to mention way more options for my car!

    PEACE!

I honestly think Melbourne is the best city in Australia...(I'm going to go and scrub myself with a Brillo pad and Brak Kleen for agreeing with Rocket...).
The best live music scene in Australia...Some awesome pubs and live gig venues, and hot chicks too!!!
I would live back in Victoria in a heartbeat...If only they would get rid of their ****e speeding laws and excessive amount of speed camera's...They are the nana state.

            Well that wasn't too bad.

Nah the Belgian Beer Cafe in the bottom of Eureka Tower, where I live...

Might head to St Kilda tonight. E&W is usually good!

DEFINITELY right about the hot chicks!

Yeah Melbourne is the best City.
I`d live there in a heartbeat if the Mrs was not a Sydney Girl.
Plus Grannys babysitting service is in Sydders.
I`d live in St Kilda or Brighton I reckon.

I've been to Melbourne 3 times, spending about 2 months all up there. I've been to every capital city in Aus bar Brisbane and Darwin.

And I agree, Melbourne is my favourite city. I even love it in winter, the fashion is great. I've been to lots of awesome gigs over there, really cheap too. My only problem is the traffic, I'm too used to the Perth traffic (or lack of it). Also, public transport is still sub-par. Other than that, I'd move over there in a heartbeat!

I lived in Melbourne for 11 years (was born there). I have been dying to go back ever since and if all goes to plan this year, it might just happen

I am with you on the Mrs point! I cant wait for the next opportunity to get back down there...

Personally I love the Doncaster/Templestowe area, that was my stomping ground when I was in Melb, other than that, cant agree more about Toorak or St Kilda for the eye candy!

Gotta agree with the sentiments here, first went to Melbourne 5 years ago and fell for the city. It wouldn't be a difficult choice if my circumstances warranted a move down south!
