Trent, I think that there is another thread that is older than that one but I cannot find it.

Amongst others that a mate and I used to restore and sell for some pocket money in high school (beetles and kombi's mainly) and parts cars that cannot count....

1. 1974 TA22 on Centrelines, resprayed silver, retrimmed interior and rebuilt 2TG

2. 1994 TX3, Auto Salon fully sick car with Nitrous and XBOX! Good thing I made money when I sold it!





3. Mazda 121 bought for $800 bucks. Best car I ever owned and I shouldnt have sold it

4. Seat Cordoba with 2.5" reset springs, power windows and 16 inch wheels that I got for $100 with tyres. Shouldn't have swapped this for the VR6



5. Golf VR6, the one with the penis keymarks, pulled the suitcase off and had a pod filter on it. Good fun to thrash around. Fuel muncher though



6. MKIV Golf GTI with meth and K04 and Work wheels. Loved this car!



7. Seat Ibiza GTi 8v with BBS RS, coilovers, which I'm pulling out to put reset standard springs in because Sydney roads suck

I have only had a few cars...

1994 Hyundai Excel...The last of the rectangular ones...A hand me down from my dad that I blew the gearbox in and burned out an exhaust valve on the no.3 pot...Got more air time than an X Games skateboarder...

Next I bought a 1994 VS Commodore Executive on my first Army pay out of recruits that I threw a Pod filter on, full Lukey exhaust, FE2 suspention and Chaser rims, then de badged it...was a great car, but I got rid of it at the right time for...

2004 Barina SRi which was my first new car. A great little car that I cannot fault at all. Just added a full exhaust, BMC panel filter and semi slicks for it to be an awesome little fun car though the twisties...Only thing I didn't like was the body roll, but when I was looking at buying H&R sway bars I bought my...

1980 diahatsu charade , this lil beast took me everywhere till i plowed it into a tree. (aquaplained )

1988 hyundai excel , this car lasted exactly 15mins before my mother decided to right the thing off for me (thanks ma! , eye rollage )

1989 toyota carolla , again can not fault this car it was in emaculate condition when i brought it , till a young 15yo girl and 3 passengers decided to plough into me when i was parked.

1996 daewoo cielo , this thing was a hunk of s##t! and truth be told i couldnt find a single thing right with it, if anything it taught me alot about cars as in replacing clutches , gear boxes and adventually a complete engine tranplant after i blew a hole the size of a granny smith in the side of the engine block.people if any of your friends ,family or hell even some one in the street tells you they want to buy adaewoo , for the love of god steer them away from them.......... unless of course they dont like reliablity, money,safety or the ability to be able to drive from point a to point b.

Modded the 626 a little bit - panel filter, zorst & small stereo. It was a good car but the engine was getting flaky after 320,000km.

The dub is THE DUB! Plenty of mods. More to come. Am enjoying it every day! Would really like to upgrade to something faster but mr wallet sez no right now. One day!
