  • where to sell a 67 beetle ?

just wondering if anyone can advise the best place to sell a 67 beetle ? (trading post ? or VW forum ?)

it's been off the road 5 years and would be a restoriation or donar car for another project.

can't see any point to putting it on carsales.com.au but would like to hear where others have sold their similar family members ?

    thanks in advance

    Michael.

trading post, car sales or surprisingly ebay. A friend and my brother have had success with ebay for highly modded Datsun 1600's. Both sold unseen by the buyer for a fair price.
Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII
    Daily: 2010 VW Jetta Highline
Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI
** All information I provide is probably incorrect until validated by someone else **

Yes, I know, but sometimes people can be willing to compromise, you never know. I was just putting it out there. And '67 is still the earlier shape and specification as a lot changed in '68.

Thanks guys, something like the veedubers forum was what I was looking for.

it's sad to see him go, but with a golf and jetta, there just isn't room for him.

Some of the cars on unique car sales are far from unique imo, i really don't see the point in it, everything thats on there is also on carsales anyway, plus a whole lot of unique cars that they missed and didn't put onto uniquecarsales !!

(And just for the record the guy looking for the early bug is one of the interested parties )

not my record, but pretty quick.

if your not screwing people around (fishing for prices), they move quick.

I sold a WB Statesman last year in 4 hours, from going online to being picked up on a trailer.

the little bug will be missed thats for sure.
