Carrying rego papers in the car is stupid because the same papers (here anyway) are the transfer of ownership papers. So someone steels your car and then forges the transfer of ownership papers. Good thinking there!

Forget just knowing my name. I had a court case against WAPOL back in 1997-1998 and this was before all their new tech gear; got pulled over for doing nothing wrong in my WRX and the cop walks up to me and says "don't get out simon, just wanted to have a chat about the court case, how is it going?" I was like, "have not gone to court yet so I don't know, noone was injured by my driving then or in the past so I don't feel bad about defending 9 demerit points just for driving in a way that was safe for road conditions" "good luck with the case, WE will see you around POLARBEAR"

That was pretty much the last time I had those plates on the car and they went into storage quick smart.
