PCD adaptors - thoughts ??

Hi All,

I've been struggling to get some good 4x100's but have a set of 4x114.3 that would look great on my car - has any used there and what are your thoughts?

i can get a set of custom made ones for 400 bucks and so can get the right center bore etc

Just a word of warning, most 4x114.3 wheels have low offsets or staggered fitments (most 4x114.3 are RWD). Adding adapters to already low offset would push the wheel out too far. What specs are the wheels that you're thinking of putting on?

Edit: I've used 5x114.3 adapters to use on 5x100 and they're fine. Torque everything down to spec and you shouldn't have any worries, but as I wrote above, make sure the offset you're dealing with is high enough to accommodate adapters and still sit alright under the guards.

Good point, i'm not sure of the offset but when i fitted them they seems to sit alright and the PCD adapters have a 25 mm thickness

Unfortunately I can't re- drill the wheels as they are multi fit and the 4x100 holes are screwed!!!

but at $400 a set i'm also investigating just getting some news rims....

just got a quote from these guy's, http://www.easternwheelworks.com.au/...-melbourne.htm

48 bucks per wheel for a shim and re-drill, very happy! will pop some pics up later!
