Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Getting runaround

    Returning my golf to the dealer for repairs, they replaced frount rotors without pads. I took the car to a inderpendant mechanic his reply "very ordinary" the car yard has told me to bring it back, and they will scuff the pads. My question will this work or will they need to put new pads on? also the clutch is biting at the top ,will it last long ,there mechanic said "when it gets worse we will replace it".

    Good used car warrenty

    The car yard has come to the party, so far the have been excellent bending over backwards to make me happy. They are Gary Crick Sugar Rd sunshine coast offering 6 year Warranty or one hundred kl ms, on used cars. But it will cost you around nine hundred dollars for peace of mind.
