VIC: vehicle registration form? what the??

can someone please tell me what a vehicle registration form is?

im rego-ing the passat tomorrow and they asked me to bring one in, i got confused and asked if it was a road worthy cert, but she said no, so can someone tell me what the hell is a vehicle regisration form?

on the vicroads websie it doesnt say anything about it, only these requirements
What to bring to the appointment

the vehicle (if an inspection is required)
evidence of identity
evidence of ownership (contract of sale/receipt showing the VIN; engine number; name, address and signature of previous owner; name and address of the new owner). A transfer of registration document signed by both parties as an ownership receipt.
a current Certificate of Roadworthiness
if someone else is attending the appointment on your behalf, they will need a signed letter of authority from you that quotes your Victorian licence number.

You can fill it in at vic roads, it just a few details of the car, how much you paid for it, who u bought it off etc etc....

Standard form that you have probly filled in a few times at Vicroads. You can bring it in or do it there.
