In the city last night, popped into work for a minute to grab something.

Parked downstairs, didn't bother getting a ticket because I was only going to be a second.

Ended up getting stuck in the lift for over an hour ( ), walked out and saw a car 2 down had a fine.. shat myself then saw under my windscreen wiper someone had left a parking ticket valid for a couple more hours.

Thx whoever it was, made my ****ty night a little better

Be thankful for the kindness of strangers (hmm, that sounds a bit Zen-like doesn't it ?).

Getting stuck in a lift isn't fun. Happened to me at Indy, we all had beers which made it better, then some dude started throwing up which wasn't fun.

I think that is great to hear. I will place a ticket under the wiper of the car in front/behind if it has a reasonable length left and longer than the one they have.

There are a lot of thoughtful people out there, not as many as the selfish so it seems sadly.

if you were porking someone in the lift, i'd say the parking fine would've been worth it anyway......

but good on the person for doing that.... karma is real. do good things.
