Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

      Tell them yourself!

I know what you mean though, lots of the US cams are designed to be used with the factory fuel injection and we both know the Carbies are the future.

        Hahaha.. Ok i will!

Last time i tried to buy something from them they wouldn't ship O/S.. So i thought well screw that and bought off a different supplier (Andrew, haha). I take it you have purchased stuff from them previously without any problems?

Carbies are definitely the future.. Carbon trading and such.

Last time I purchased off them I was shipping domestically within the US.

I did have quite a bit of interaction with them via e-mail though and they were very helpful in sourcing some parts for me.

Don't start me ranting on Carbon emissions I'm getting spam bombed with that greenwashing nonsense at work.

Using energy efficiently is just good engineering practice.

          Not polluting is common sense.

Hmm fair enough. I might give them a second chance soon then. Don't worry i do agree with you as far as this being green thing is concerned.. (Considering we tow a Nitro burning dragster with an old, carburettored V8 XC wagon! haha).

Ground on Autotech's own, custom manufactured, chill-hardened billets, our Sport 16V camshafts achieve power levels higher than the benchmark Schrick 260 with far better low-end torque and drivability. Great idle characteristics with 8 more peak HP and up to 12 more ft.lbs. of torque than the 260's. Dynojet® chassis dyno tests showed a gain average of 17.2 HP at the wheels over stock US cams between 5000 and 6750 rpm on a GTI 2.0L. Without question, the best street-legal performance cams for your 16V. SportTuned Valve Springs recommended for the best top-end performance. Lifetime warranty.

                      Intake 10.2mm x 252°
                      Exhaust 10.9mm x 264°
                      114° lobe center
Ahh Boo! Nowhere near big enough. Street legal? Now that's just not going to work for me..
