Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • South East Asia trip

    Dubbers,

My partner and I are about to start planning a trip around South East Asia. We're looking to go for three weeks or more and visiting places such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Burma etc. I'm going to pick up some books soon but was wondering if anyone has any recent Lonely Planet books of this area that you want to get rid of? Would pay of course. I'm also looking for suggestions on where to go and what to see. We're into interesting and unique things - possibly places your average tourist wouldn't go.

FYI we're doing a trip to the Philippines mid-Feb for a couple of weeks so are planning to hit other places later in the year.

    Let me hear your suggestions!!

    Cheers.
