First time for me since landing 3 and a half years ago. Blew zero, so no worries there but eagle eyed cop claims I have a bald tyre on the back.
I'd hardly call it bald but it had come off the front before I had the tracking sorted so was a bit thin on the inside edge. You could still see the tread pattern.
He was English, so I piped up sharpish that I'd 'get it sorted out mate'. He went for another look and asked if I had a spare, which I did. He says 'stick that on'. 'No worries'.
Anyway, I was allowed to drive off but rather than take the mickey and leave it. You just know he is going to see you again soon...
I call up the guys that replaced my front tyres earlier in the year. Ezy-tyres. http://www.ezy-tyres.com.au/ The dude turns up in 45 minutes with a pair of tyres. Job done in another hour outside the hangar while I work.
Not worth losing a Saturday arvo waiting to get some fitted up..
