Motorsport Arena, Oschersleben, Germany.
Went for a blat on the karts track and then after 6pm weekdays they open the main track up for the public to cycle/rollerblade around!! Really cool idea. It was free and play music over the loudspeakers and all.
I also made use of the free showers and saved another night paying for caravan parks
Was cool watching the DTM on telly a few weeks later on the same track!
This has all the hallmarks of an awesome holiday. Thanks for sharing. A couple of years back I went to Canada for the Toronto film festival and sidled up to film premiers and starwatched, etc. then travelled around northwest USA with TrekAmerica camping out and drinking too much and having an amazing time - looking at your shots reminds me of those memories and makes me hanker for a euro road trip. How did you get the car there? or did you buy it there and tour round and sell it? Well done anyway. Thanks also for the gratuitous beemer shots...

Sounds sweet!
We landed in London and hung with friends & fam till we bought our T4 Transporter (the yellow one in the pics). It was taken round Europe the year before by the previous owner (a kiwi) so he'd already done a backyard camper conversion to it. It was basic but had all we needed. When we finished up our trip 6 months later, we made it back to London on a friday evening, got up early the next morning, cleaned it up and sold it that morning!!!!
I've got over 2000 photo's of the travels but these are just car related here
So, here it is. Wolfsburg. Factory is bigger than the town. If you dont work for VW then you best mate or immediate family does. If you dont drive a VW then you are either a tourist or an outcast looked at with shame.
This is the small museum in the town. Yes there are a few museums!
They have LOADS of cars but can only ever display less than 50% of their collection at once!!!
VWWATERCOOLED BANNER???!!
