Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I knew years of eating my far more talented brothers dust on the MX bike would pay off! I invested in these last year, and they are paying off today! Be stuffed if I'm driving anywhere today, man is it FINE. Go straight through the air cleaner I reckon.

I was paranoid driving into work today.
I have a K&N filter and was worried it hadn't been oiled since I dropped it in.

I didn't go over 3500rpm or WOT for the whole 20 min trip.

My car got all dirty and it was inside the garage all day!

Gonna go close the windows now so that no more dust settles on her during the night.

Argh that's savage. Dad's GTI is in the garage, sdoor hasn't opened since the weekend but its still got an inch of dust on the top of it.

Mine copped the full lot because I can't get into the driveway

                            welcome to my world
we get 5 to 10 of them every year
most of the time just a few drops of rain
to dirty the car or it just rains mud
at least it dry most of the time so you don't
                            get much rust

A bit dusty up here too: http://twitcaps.com/s/Brisbane

Here's the view from my desk in Spring Hill around midday

And some people actually had to get home in the 'dustbowl' too. Double-wrap microfiber mask FTW
