Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    I didn't get a lot of pics this year, but here's what I got. (I apologise for my R8 Fetish, I kind of got tunnel vision! Not to mention my two nephews had to be surgically removed from the vehicle)

      about to upload mine as well, i didnt take to many sorry!

      bit disappointed how little sydney people came!!! .. much smaller turnout then most years i must say.

      snowy's car as sexy as every, looked hot! loved it .. we left fairly early to beat the traffic and had a good run back actually. hopefully next year a few more sydney peeps will make it!

                Congrats to Pierre for picking up 1st place in the MK3-4-5 category.

                Good to see you again mate. Love the new front/rear bars, especially the Fat Bottom (rear bumper), it would make Jennifer Lopez envious.

                        Is it just me, or does the front bumper look misaligned on the R8? Panel gap is huge.

                          its only like that in some of the pics. Im guessing the bonnet was open

                            I would have loved to have gone, but had sick grandmothers (both hospitalised, both life-threatening illnesses) in Qld who I needed to visit.

                              The R8 was bad but the 2001 RS4 was stunning! Still can't get past these AVANTs! The owner said the only mod was the upgrading of the suspension - meshing the throttle was frightening prior to the improved setup. Wish I'd taken a snap. Oh, and it had a baby capsule in the rear!!
