Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Lucas, thats just a stupid comment.

I owned an FPV GTP for 5 years, and was modded up to 385kW, had no warranty claims, nor cost me a cent in anything but standard maintenance schedules.

It came stock with 6 pot brembos, Recaro seats and a MOMO steering wheel.

for $70k I think its brilliant value for money, and I'd challenge you to find to many other cars in this market place that offers that and enough seating for 5 large adults

Aren't cars generally a waste of money.

      Agree with gareth_oau
Had an XR6T for 7 years, standard general maintenance with plenty of mods. The only major problem was the heater core.
