  • Victorians - where are you and what have you got?

Thought this might be a useful idea so that we know where each other are located and what they have. Need to borrow a tool, get some help, VAGCOM, or just see a car that interesets you? Perhaps a good way to look up the help you need.

    Let me start

    I'm in Geelong
    Golf Mk4
Have various tools - have access to most and a lathe, nothing VW specialist, no VAGCOM, some electrical/mechanical knowledge.

From Saturday I will be living in Tullamrine.

Add a polo (mk4?) to the list bellow and thats the full list of VW's we own.

I have a tool box (good enough) and some VW specific tools. Also have a good socket set which my mate used and lost the 13mm!!!!
I like car audio and electronics so im prity good with that sort of stuff. My best mate is a panel beater so got da sweet hook ups there.

Am married to blutopless (who has already posted in this thread) and therefore am also in Werribee. Out of the fleet of VW's he has posted in his sig, the NB cabrio and the Polo GTI are mine. I am a Nurse by profession, so while I have no technical skills and can't help with an engine rebuild I can patch ppl up should they cut their fingers off!!!

I own no tools, however I do have an iPhone, so I can call VW assist, or whatever mechanic one needs. I also have maps so I know where I am going. Blutopless and I also have a very loud toddler, so we can strap her onto someones roof to use as a siren if needed .......
