Yeh, I don't think there would be to much wrong with it besides if you bargained a little bit more + the parcel shelf it would be a good deal if it had fsh and an inspection !

Wow that is cheap for a dealer price! The previous owner probably ripped out all the stereo gear and put the oem unit back in but just left the cabling to the boot. My guess would be the parcel shelf had big holes in it from speakers... Tail lights could easily be replaced as said above.
The cheap price is what would make me suspicious - dealers tend to know what cars are worth, and if they're selling something for a few grand less than the standard market price, there's undoubtably a reason for it.
I had a dealer who was willing to sell me a 2002 Bora V6 4Motion for as low as $14k (listed at $17k) last August, when private sales were $17k-$20k and dealers were generally asking $20-$22k. I did some investigation through REVS and found it was a repairable writeoff - the dealer's explaination was that it'd mounted a traffic island and holed the sump and that had caused the car to be written off, but then they'd replaced the sum for less than $1k and the car was as good as new - my response was "Sorry, but cars aren't statuatory writeoffs for $1k worth of damage, thanks but no thanks" and that was that.
I have to put my hand up and say that I bought this one!
When I checked it out the car had damage on the front left. They said the previous owner ran the car into a bush a few weeks before trading it in. It looked consistent as the damage was no more than scratches. It had a full service history from the dealer I bought it off and yes the parcel shelf was missing.
I ended up paying 30K and had them fix the front damage and put in a parcel shelf. I got a new set of Oettinger pedals and a set of R-Line scuffs as well.
I have to admit I wasn't a huge fan of the lights either (never been a fan of the Altezza style) but when you see them for real they actually look ok. Plus as a few other people said the lights are easily swapped. The amp leads obviously made me realise straight away a young guy owned it.
It was funny that I stumbled across this post! I was actually looking for instructions on removing the stereo as I am look at installing the Pioneer Sat Nav F310BT.
If anyone happens to have a set of tail lights for sale though please let me know!
