an amazing result when you consider the bump with Barra, especially as Brauns have shown to be quite a tough car, then the penalty, it looked like it was shaping up to be a typicaly misfortune of Webber.
I almost stopped watching out of disgust when he got that penalty, what a joke that was. Sure it wasn't a smart move but, did he take Rubens out? no, did he even benefit and gain a position? no he ended up behind Rubens.
What is it coming to when when banging wheels gives you a drive through penalty.
The "incident" between Sutil and Kimi was also investigated, thin kthe stewards were a bit over the top.
A very well deserved win that was a long long time coming for him.

Yep I;m really happy for him. So many people doubted him and his abilities. People in the media and others gave him so much crap. He is a very talented driver!!

It was beyond not smart - he (seemed to) intentionally rammed Rubens - there was an initial move over to the side, then a sudden swerve to smack into Rubens' car. And it DID end up causing Lewis Hamilton to blow a tire and took him completely out of contention after he had a great start off the grid.
All that said, after that brain explosion, he drove brilliantly. Coming back to win after a drive-through penalty was amazing.
As has already been said, he's always had the skill, but he's had bad cars and bad luck. Hopefully this is the start of some time in the sun for Webber, goodness knows he deserves it (and none of the other drivers would deny it to him either except out of competitiveness, he's popular in the paddock, and that's a good measure of the respect his competitors have for him.
After seeing some on boards it didn't look so bad, he did move over but Rubens also had room to move over and avoid it and as he said he thought Rubens went to his left, so he would have been attempting to defend his line going into the first turn.
As for Hamilton, he out braked himself big time and ran out of talent, it was his own fault for clipping Mark.

Massive massive congrats to Mark Webber..... but a big thanks has to go out to Felipe Massa for holding up Barrichello ~2 seconds a lap to allow for Webber to catch right back up after the drive through penalty.
A lot of credit goes to the strategy of the Red Bull team to get Webber to win that convincingly after a drive through penalty, I don't think there was really any time where he was stuck behind traffic (apart from the very start of the race). He always seemed to have open air in front of him which hugely helped his lap times.

Not sure where you coming from with Lewis´ race being ruined by Mark, Manaz.
Lewis, again, did a pretty good job of going in too hot and ruining his own race...
I´m actually in Germany now, and the German papers were really great, talking Mark up and all. Was on the front page of one of the big newspapers.
It´s been four days and i´m still over the moon. Cant imagine how happy he must be!!!
Good on him, he´s totally oz.
