Thanks guys, but hey I had a lot of help.

Welcome Ross,. Congrats on making it to the reunion and the completion of the dragster!
Defiantly one cool piece of machinery, I'm really glad I got a chance to slide in the drivers pew!
awesome job you've done on the dragster, all the feedback was well deserved.
glad I got to sit in a piece of history
VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it

More done on the trailer today. We've began the operation to enclose it...
First up, we put up the basic frame..
Then the uprights..
Then the side cross braces, followed by the roof cross braces. You'll notice that the front section on the sides has no braces, that's because we're putting doors there on either side..
If you plan on doing a bit of welding, i highly recommend these gloves over the shorter ones. They go right up to your shoulders and protect your whole arm, instead of just your forearm. Great for overhead welding and welding in a Tshirt..
Side tie loops..
(If you're wondering, i got some exhaust clamps and cut the thread off..)
All welded up today before we headed to Bunnings for some piano hinges for the doors and so aluminium angle... We put the rear door back in to see how it fit etc.. Spot on!
That's it for today.. Tomorrow we're hoping to have the side doors made and swinging, aswell as the rear door fitted.

I concur, the blue ones are cooler though
(Although they do make you look like a muppet. Hmmmm Cookies....)
