      • Hahahahahaha...We don't go to the extremes of tech screws...We prefer the structural integrity of Zip ties and Gaff Tape!!

            • Yesterday I cut the rear section out of the trailer (we left it in to give it rigidity while i welded it up). It moved about 2mm, and that was it.. Which means i welded it up in the right order and the distortion was very minimal.

We got the car on the trailer (borrowed some ramps), worked out where we wanted the axle and welded it in.

We need the ramps to be about 500mm longer than the ones we borrowed. The chassis hits slightly on the centre cross brace and the fuel tank also hits, so we need longer ramps to bring the rear up more when the car is at that point..

We also picked up an electric winch (with remote! ) from super cheap for 110 bucks. Gotta work out how we're going to mount that now.. We also need to buy some aluminium checker plate for the floor.

                            • More work done today. We're on a tight schedule so we're not mucking around!

My Uncle Max came round today to give us a hand..

New Plazma cutter i've borrowed and will probably buy (It's awesome!). Cuts anything from about 1mm to 16mm.

We changed to centre support brace. Moved it forward 50mm and spaced it down. Much better. No issues with loading the car now!

Centre bracing for the sump support welded in..

We also fitted the new electric winch and made some temporary ramps.
