My UK VW Polo Mk5 6n2.

Hey, some of you may remember me, most of you probably wont, but anyway i'm Dave, i'm 18 from Manchester, England.

I've not posted on here for a long time now, probably around a year.

Some of you may remember my Polo looking like this:



Well since then it has undergone a huge makeover and looks like this:

Mods so far:

GTI Splitter.
GTI Grill.
GTI Brakes.
VR6 Leather interior.
16" BBS RX2 2-piece split rims. (Rare)
Coilovers.
Black FK angel eye headlights imported from Germany.
Colourcoded bumpstrips/handles etc.
This weekend my bumpers are going to be smoothed (the bumpstrips removed and smoothed) and the handle from the tailgate is also going, and a gti Spoiler is being fitted and smoothed in.

Comments/criticisms etc welcome.

tastey mods there, im likeing the front red bumper stripe and will look the goods once smoothed! but I think the wheels need to be spaced out a bit to fill the gaurds?

I fitted some 20mm spacers all round at weekend, but the wheels are being changed to some 15x8s up front and 15x9s at the back in a few weeks.

I will put some pics up with spacers fitted later on in the week

very nice looking polo you have there mate, good work with it. when you said you had undergone a huge makover i was a little confused cos the phone pics near the top dont really show much... but then it started to show!

I fitted some 20mm spacers all round at weekend, but the wheels are being changed to some 15x8s up front and 15x9s at the back in a few weeks.

You keeping the RXIIs and changing them to 8" and 9" barrels or going for totally different wheels all together?

Cheers dude, I was going to widen the RX2's but with them being 16s it will rub way too much, and i want to wind the coilovers down further

I think i'm going to go for some custom Image wheels (see here http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/), but i will update in this thread when i've made my decision.

She's going in the bodyshop this weekend for a lot of work too, so i will keep this thread updated with my progress.
