Nice! Those BBS' look a ton better than your previous wheels!

    Cool drawings too!

yeah, the old wheels didn't do it for me either...
still working on it, the a3 has a smooth body from factory so it isn't too hard to get that euro look, definitely more to be done.
performance wise i'm satisfied with the k04 but i'll be doing the vr6 maf and 380cc injector upgrade soon for a bit more poke, maybe something bigger down the track.

here is a mk1 for you jarred

couldn't decide on the wheels so i never finished this one.

monthly melbourne meets? i roll solo buddy, like .......nah jk, didn't know you guys organised these. audi vic has these but im too lazy to rock up. if its close by, i might come past one time.

edit: i think i saw you at knox? saturday

saturday night, about 6pm ish. driving very loudly in 1st gear... that would have been me

Our monthly meet up is either a pub in the city (30 min drive from me) or an outing like karts or whatever. They're usually a fair bit of fun..

oh, and nice drawings btw. Got some talent there. I like it.

Grrrrr - they should have been my wheels..... Just jokes - they look awesome! Did you end up having to fit spacers with them? You got a bargain you luck sod!

When did you do the K04 upgrade? Was yours the K03s prior or just the poxy K03? What did you think of the difference it made?

                  Thanks for the comments guys!

ace karts in sunshine is my favorite so next time this is on i'll try make it.

no spacers, thats how far they sit, thought about putting 10mm spacers at the back but it would definitely rub.
the k04 has been in for about year n few months, had the std k03 prior so the difference was huge in the mid range n up top not so much in lower rpm. i was looking at pro-imports k04-20 equalizer kit and the eliminators at first, but software was the major issue, revo didn't have the map for my ecu (probably still don't) and i heard mika software was crap. CC was not available at that time in the end i settled for a k04-001, simple swap and giac distributor 2 mins away, apr didn't offer software unless you puchased the whole kit. the cooler makes a big difference too

What cooler did you get because I'm in the market for one also for when I do my K04-023 upgrade. I keep hearing good reports about the eBay ones and I am becoming more and more tempted by them.

You'll have to come to the DoVW and we'll compare the K04-001 vs the K04-023 back to back to see what the difference is. I'll be back down then for the show and will probably stay down there for a week to catch up on some drinking time with some mates...

i've had my el-cheapo ebay cooler for more than 4 yrs, can't compare it to other ones but it's out atm and the performance loss was very noticable.

it's 710x170x65 and fits behind the stock bumper

no worries, i should have the maf n injectors in by then hopefully

If you did red centres, then I think std tail lights would work well with red tint on the indicator section. It's prob illegal though, IDK.
