Just thought this may be of interest.
The blue rallye is Ian Birch's first foray into twin engine v-dubs running two VR6 motors either at the same time or indepentently effectivly making the car 4wd,fwd or rwd.He built this car for the start of the 96 show season after leaving Jim Cotton's Awesome GTI store and setting up Dubsport,the Polo in the other lane was also built by Ian and was the first VR6 polo built.
This was a great weekend at the GTI spectacular in Peterborough.

PS needless to say the rallye blew the doors of everything all weekend

yeah i remember reading about both these cars in the old golf mag - the blue one is awesome to say the least!
