  • First pic and post

    Hey All,

This is my first post, picked up my car 6 weeks ago, have worked hard over the last month running it in, so I'm now ready to cruise! (I'm in WA).
The car is a white 5 door GTI DSG with colour coding. Have been loving every minute driving the car....Only 1 gripe so far, and that's a rattle/vibration in the passenger door when listening to music (only certain frequencies set it off). Taking it back to the dealer.

I've only got one pic of the car on my work PC, it's the first photo I took of the car when it came back from the painters before delivery.

    Cheers

Welcome to VWW! I agree with Jarred with the colour-coding There's a fair few regular WA members here so you'll feel right at home.

Hello and welcome! I love the car mate, all VWs should come colour coded from the factory. I don't get the idea of leaving half the bumpers unpainted!
Anyway, its a nice car, and DSG works well in them. There will probably be a cruise organised soon so you get a chance to properly test it since its ran in

Osborne Park dealer. When I asked John Hughes about colour coding they looked at me like I was mildly retarded. Osborne Park knew what I was talking about. They asked for a pic of how I wanted the car to look and sent it to Bowra panel and paint. Cost for the the rear half panel, side skirts and front half lip was around 900inc. More pics to come. Cheers all.

Hey dude, I've seen your ride floating around Osborne Park. I was torn between a mkIV R32 and the new Gti. Couldn't find a good used one when I was ready to buy. Oh well.

Lookin' forward to cruising. Need to get a radar detector.
