VW sure did a great job eh?
Plenty of little problems to sort out- as you'd expect from a 29 year old car! Love it though.
Grill badge not missing- It's not a GTi. Tailgate one will go too as soon as I find the correct one.
My tailgate badge went from outside my house and it WAS the correct one.
You could say the tailgate is now debadged.
Thieving little pricks.
At least they didn't steal my black GTI sidestripes.

And I thought that all of the crims were in Risdon! Yours is the first story I've heard of debadging since I've lived in Tassie. Must be the sheltered life I lead in the country!
There was a badge on ebay UK the other day.
Yeah I don't think debadging is common but neither are mk1 Golf GTI badges .The little crims must have been wanna be GTI owners as of the 7 cars parked around mine no others were touched.(only 2 of mine were on the street at the time ,others were neighbours vehicles)
Anyway I don't need a badge to prove anything I know its a real one albeit a daggy one and the black side stripes give it away.
Eh what happened to red goes quicker!
The matching Recaro's look better in mk4 GTI's with the red paint jobs i reckon. The red on the interior flashes it off.
Did your mk4 come with a bee sting or did you fit it?
